The Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing landed a federal gran to establish a four-story education center in India. The funds will primarily be used to build a nursing simulation center to serve around 48 nurses.
The United States Agency for International Development and by the American Schools and Hospitals Abroad provided the grant in effort to support Baylor’s collaboration with the Bangalore Baptist Hospital. Six staffers from the Baylor nursing school was present for the groundbreaking ceremony, officials said.
