Career Overview

An entrepreneur is a person who starts his or her own business, assuming all risk and responsibility. Nurse entrepreneurs may work in any aspect of the health care or medical industry. Examples of settings include independent practice, corporations, and industry.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

RN preparation is required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science
in Nursing are desired. A degree in business is helpful.
