Lewis University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty member in the College of Nursing and Health Professions to provide instruction to nursing students in the Graduate and RN/BSN programs. This position involves online and face-to-face teaching responsibilities of the Romeoville campus.

Lewis University College of Nursing and Health Professions offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctor of nursing practice degrees in an environment of personalization, with small class sizes and individualized attention to students. Primary Responsibilities:
• Didactic instruction and practicum supervision for nursing students in Graduate and RN/BSN programs
• Advise students in scholarly work
• Participate on college committees
• Continue to develop and maintain own scholarly activities

Minimum Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in nursing or DNS, ND, EdD, DNP, DrNP; master’s degree in nursing. Equivalent of two years of clinical experience in nursing required. Licensed to practice in the state of Illinois or eligibility for same with application in process. Previous teaching experience with the adult and graduate nursing student. Previous teaching online.

Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in nursing; Experience as a nurse educator either in an academic setting or practice setting preferred; MSN in Nursing Education preferred.
