Frontier Nursing University recently partnered with the the FSIL School of Nursing in Haiti to develop a nurse-midwifery program to improve maternal-child health in the country. The Episcopal University of Haiti or FSIL, is the top ranked nursing program in Haiti. With Frontier Nursing University’s support, the school hopes to launch a new nurse-midfery program in the fall of 2016.
Frontier’s will help buttress FSIL’s current program by supporting curriculum development and providing consultation on distance learning capabilities. With their support, FSIL hopes to launch not only a nurse-midwifery program, but also a diploma to BSN program and an family nurse practitioner program in the future.
