We are currently recruiting part-time faculty members to teach in our new state-of-the-art Simulation Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Incumbents will teach simulation sessions across academic programs using standards of best practice in simulation. They will be supervising and providing instruction to students during physical assessments, medical/surgical labs, and open-practice sessions. This role will require flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Successful candidates will have a Master’s degree in Nursing plus at least three (3) years of clinical nursing and/or teaching experience in the Family, Adult or Acute Care specialties. An active Registered Nurse New York State License and certification as a Nurse Practitioner is also required. The selected incumbent will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as experience and/or a strong interest in simulation-based education.
