Lewis University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty member in the College of Nursing and Health Professions to work collaboratively with the Coordinator of the Nurse Practitioner track and faculty to teach and facilitate continued program development and implementation in the Department of Graduate Studies with a focus on the primary care nurse practitioner tracks. Primary responsibilities include teaching, curriculum development, implementation and evaluation, research/scholarship and service.

Minimum Qualifications:
Doctorate in nursing or related field required. The equivalent of three years of full-time clinical nursing experience plus three years of full-time equivalent nurse practitioner experience also required. Licensure as an advanced practice nurse (APN) in the state of Illinois or eligibility for same with application in process also required. Certified by ANCC or AANP as a Family Nurse Practitioner or an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experiences in an academic setting preferred.
