Responsibilities: This full-time, 10-month position begins August 2019 and serves students in the third and fourth semesters of an Associate of Science Nursing Program; utilizing a team approach to achieve student learning outcomes in each course. Responsibilities will include both classroom and clinical teaching, engaging in department and college wide service activities, and academic advising. Classroom content includes responsibility for nursing concepts related to mental health nursing and medical/surgical and/or pediatric nursing. Clinical responsibilities include direct supervision of students in psychiatric and acute care settings.
Requirements: Current RN licensure in the state of Maryland, Master’s degree in Nursing, and demonstration of a strong foundation in mental health nursing theory and clinical practice as well as medical surgical and/or pediatric nursing. A Masters in Nursing Education or Post-Masters Certificate in Nursing Education is preferred.
