When her mom mentioned to her medical team that her daughter was a long-distance runner they offered Amy a spot on their team. She accepted with enthusiasm, grateful for the chance to give back to an institution that has directly helped her family and given hope to others around the world who suffer from glaucoma.

Each member of Massachusetts Eye and Ear’s team has a special connection to the institution and all of the funds they raise will be invested in its mission to find cures for blindness, deafness, and diseases of the head and neck.
